Solomon called wisdom the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7), and Proverbs is God's month-long training in it. This plan pairs each chapter of Proverbs with the corresponding day of the month — read chapter 7 on the 7th, chapter 22 on the 22nd — so you can start on any day and never lose your place. Each day includes a short introduction, three verses to memorize or meditate on, and a practical question about speech, money, work, friendship, sex, anger, or humility. Repeat the plan every month for a year and Proverbs will begin to shape how you make decisions, raise your family, and talk to God.
Read the chapter that matches today's date. Underline one verse that arrests you. Pray it back to God before you close the book.
