Editorial Policy

How our Bible study, devotional, and product content is written, reviewed, and kept accurate.

Our commitment

Every article, devotional, Bible study, and product guide on Know God Better is original content written to help Christians know God better through His Word. We do not publish AI-generated filler, spun content, or unattributed excerpts.

Scripture and theology

  • We stand in the historic, orthodox Christian faith and affirm the authority of Scripture.
  • Scripture is quoted from public-domain or properly licensed translations; the translation used is noted where relevant.
  • Doctrinal claims are supported with cited passages so readers can search the Scriptures themselves (Acts 17:11).

Sourcing and research

  • Historical, cultural, and language notes are drawn from established commentaries, lexicons, and reference works.
  • Product guides are based on hands-on evaluation, publisher-provided specifications, and verified customer feedback.
  • We disclose limitations honestly — if a product is best for beginners, or a translation reads more paraphrase than word-for-word, we say so.

Review process

  • Every article is edited before publication for clarity, biblical accuracy, and readability.
  • Buying guides and reviews are re-evaluated at least annually; the "Last updated" date reflects the most recent substantive edit.
  • Author bylines link to a short bio and area of focus.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of any affiliate, advertising, or publisher relationship. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections

If you spot an error — a misquoted verse, a broken link, an outdated product detail — please let us know. We correct verified issues promptly and note substantive changes in the article's update log.

Feedback

Reader questions shape what we publish next. Suggest a topic and we will consider it for a future study or guide.
