40 Day Proverbs

The 31 chapters of Proverbs across 40 days, with room to slow down on the themes that press hardest — speech, anger, money, sex, work, humility, and the fear of the Lord. Each day includes a passage, a short meditation drawing out the underlying wisdom, and one concrete question to take into the next twenty-four hours. Especially useful in Lent, in the run-up to a new school year, or any time you want a season of God-honoring, decision-shaping wisdom. Pairs naturally with an ongoing Psalms rhythm — Proverbs for how to live, Psalms for how to pray.

Read the day's passage slowly. Circle one verse that arrests you. Ask: where do I need this wisdom today?
