Step 1 · The Gospel
Who is God?
Before we can talk about Jesus, we have to start where the Bible starts — with God. Not a vague spiritual force. Not a higher power. A real, personal, eternal God who made everything that exists.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Scripture says this God is holy — perfectly good, set apart from all evil. He is just — He never overlooks wrong. And He is love — patient, kind, and slow to anger. All of this at once, without contradiction.
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
He is not distant. He made you on purpose, for a purpose. You are not an accident, and you are not unseen. The God who flung galaxies into place knows the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30).
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Pause: If this God is real — if He made you, sees you, and is good — that changes everything. Sit with that for a moment before you click on.
