30 Days in the Psalms

Thirty short devotionals from across the Psalter — songs of praise, lament, trust, and longing — paced for one a day with a Sabbath catch-up.

Each devotional gives you a Psalm to read, a short meditation, and a prayer to pray. Read in the morning if you can; let the Psalm shape your day.

The LORD is my shepherd

"Read Psalm 23 slowly, twice. Pay attention to every verb the shepherd does — leads, makes, restores, prepares, anoints."
Psalm 23

Meditate

David doesn't say the LORD is like a shepherd. He says the LORD is his shepherd. The whole Psalm flows from that confession. Before you ask for anything today, name what is already true: you are known, led, fed, and guarded by the Good Shepherd who would one day lay down His life for the sheep (John 10:11).

Pray

Lord Jesus, my Shepherd, lead me beside still waters today. Restore my soul. When the valley comes, remind me you are with me — and that goodness and mercy are following close behind. Amen.
